BIPOC Farmer Rest Retreat
For farmers, gardeners and land stewards - we invite you to R E S T with us <3
At Cazimi, we understand that the demands of cultivating land while navigating systemic racism, queerphobia, and the pressures of survival leave little room for rest. This retreat creates an intentional space for rest as a form of resistance and renewal, offering farmers the chance to recharge, connect, and reclaim joy.
By centering rest, we honor the radical idea that we as QTBIPOC farmers deserve to thrive—not just survive—and to cultivate our own well-being as deeply as we nurture the land.
Drafted Itinerary can be found on application (subject to changes, but this will give you an idea of what to expect)
We estimate that this application will take around 30-60 mins to complete.
Applications are due by Feb. 23 at 11:59pm EST.
Prior to attending this retreat, we suggest reading and/or listening (1 hr and 17 mins) to "We Will Rest! The Art of Escape" by Tricia Hersey
